Cash is debuting....

Before

After

Shiner

Since summer doesn't officially start until June 21, Cash is debuting his summer hair cut and his shiner. It was hard to cut that hair off, but it was just so hot. We would play outside and Cash would be sweating with his hair soaking wet. I always felt selfish making him keep his long hair. It was tough, but I do love his new hair cut.

The shiner.....he got that the day of his hair cut. I was unloading the dishwasher. Cash is usually great help. He does the silverware all by himself. This time when he bent down to get the silverware he lost his balance and hit his eye right on the corner of the dishwasher. Not much drama, a little crying and Cash was on his way. Poor baby!

We all scream for ice cream..

Brandon ask Cash about every night "Do you want to go to Braum's" like Cash can answer. But in Brandon's mind Cash says "Yes" every time. Here is Cash and Brandon enjoying their Summer Treat.

Summer Fun....

Eating M&M's

Swimming

Rocket Ship

It is just the start of backyard fun, grilling out and swimming. This is just some of the fun we are having in our backyard. Cash is the King of the yard. He loves it because he can do whatever he wants. Throw rocks in his pool, play in the mud or ride his rocket ship around. Fun Fun..

A Few of Cash's Favorite Things....

Cash loves being outside. We have to shut the garage door before we get Cash out of the car. If we don't he will throw a fit. These are a few of his favorite things with Daddy.

It's a Popsicle kinda day...

Since it has been so nice outside lately, Cash and I have been starting a new routine. When Cash wakes up from his afternoon nap we hit the back yard for our afternoon Popsicles. I love that time, just the two of us. While he is eating his Popsicle he does laps around the table with a huge smile. Gosh, what a Great Day!!

Family Day...

Monday, Brandon and I took Cash down to ride the canal. When we bought our tickets the lady told us the ride was 30 to 40 mins. We thought we were in for it. Cash can't sit still for 1 min. more less 30 mins., but he did really good. His favorite part of the canal was the waterfalls. Then we had lunch outside at Chelino's on the balcony. We had to do the stairs a couple of times. Then it was nap time. Good thing our mini vacation was so close to his bed.

Easter....

We had the best Easter! I must say our Easter baskets were pretty awesome this year. Yes, my Mom still makes an Easter basket for Brandon and I. Cash loved his bubbles and cars. I love my Miss Prendibles apples they are my favorite. We had good food, great Easter egg hunt, and fun with Ty and Jake.

Cash up to new tricks

Cash has a bunch of new tricks. He likes to reorganize anything he can get his hands on. Tupperware in kitchen cabinets, laundry in baskets even the mail. He is a great organizer if anyone wants to hire him, he is running a discount this week! You will not be disappointed. Recently I purchased a toy organizer. I thought this would help keep his toys put up. The joke is on me. I spend half my day picking up toys he throws out of the organizer!

Chocolate Puddin

Cash is just like his Daddy!!! He loves chocolate. When I first met Brandon he told me that he didn't like chocolate, but I would catch him eating a snickers. I would say "I thought you didn't like chocolate." He would say "I don't like just plain chocolate." That has quickly changed. This weekend Brandon wanted to make his favorite dessert. Making Millionaire Pie can be messy so we needed some back up on cleaning. We got help from our little Hoover vacuum (AKA Cash) during clean-up. He loved licking the beaters. Here are some pics of Cash and the chocolate.

Sanitizer Please!!!!

The other day Cash and I went through Walgreen's drive-thru to pick up a prescription. After the lady handed me my prescription I sanitized my hands. I looked at Cash while I was rubbing my hands together and he put his hands out. I asked him "Do you want to sanitize your hands?" So I put a drop of sanitizer on his hands and he rubbed them together with a big smile on his face. I was so proud! It is so funny the small things that make your heart flutter. A special someone told me Cash's first word will be sanitizer. I guess by now you know Mom is a huge sanitizer fan!!

Sick Baby...

We have been fighting congestion for over a month now. We have been to the doctor three times in the last three weeks, we didn't go to the doctor 3 times Cash's first year. On Monday, Feb. 23rd Cash was diagnosed w/ pneumonia. When the doctor said that I wanted to rip down the walls. We were just there on Friday. It was a good thing Brandon was there. He battled 103 temps from Sat night to Tues night. This Momma was about to go to the crazy house. I just knew every morning when he woke up he would be better. We finally got relief on Wed. morning. Maybe it was Migs' TLC. No fever, hardly any coughing, we were finally getting to see our little Cash sparkle again. Now it's antibiotics for 10 days and staying in the house 2 weeks after that. Thank you God for healing Cash and putting an end to this week....

Cash's first cut, Haircut that is....

My Mom called me one morning and told me she canceled her hair appointment. She gave me the opportunity to take Cash in her place. I started to panic and my palms started sweating. I immediately told her I wasn't emotionally prepared for this. So, I scheduled the haircut for a month later. I figured by then I could get it together. It is just a haircut, Cash is going to have to get his hair cut one of these days. When the time came everything went great, the hardest part of the haircut experience was Dad. I wanted to cut Cash's hair short and spike it, but Dad wanted to leave it long. I really think Brandon just couldn't let go of the baby look. Dad won, we just trimmed Cash's hair. Thanks to Lorne for doing a terrific job. Not one tear shed. Thanks to Mig the best photographer.

Love is in the Air....

Looking through my Valentines

Valentines with Mig and Pop

This Valentines weekend has been amazing. We started with family pics on Saturday morning. This was our first professional family pictures. WOW!! did I say family pictures, no more couples pictures. Next, we had a great lunch @ Mama Roja's. Then, save the best for last, that evening we made are annual Valentines sugar cookies and time to open gifts. Brandon got me a day @ the spa. Bring it on, I'm so ready for a day of pampering. Of course Cash's favorite part is the paper and sacks. He could careless if he gets a gift this year. That will quickly change with age.

Let it snow Let it snow....

This winter has been crazy. It seems like every week we have had snow. I don't remember it ever snowing like this. It does make for good days in the house. Cash really likes watching the snow. We have played in it some, but Cash would rather just sit in the snow. So, we do more watching out the window then playing in the snow.

Save the Best....

for last. We end the year with a bang. Every December we celebrate the greatest holiday of the year, CHRISTmas. We now throw in a important birthday for us, our son Cash's birthday. Cash was born December 16th, 2008. This year his party theme was safari (just because I like giraffe and zebra print) picking the theme was part of the fun. I know, it will not be like this next year because he will be requesting some cartoon character party. The sad thing is I have already started thinking about party ideas for the next big bash.
